Upon moving to Austin a few months ago, I began searching for a salon to frequent. It was exciting to read all the services offered at Envy which a co worker of I recommended. When I made an appointment for a manicure the receptionist was very friendly and very helpful.
As much as I wanted to like Envy, I was very disappointed. While it is described as ""up scale"", the seating was uncomfortable, the beverages consist of what one can get at a standard cafe and service was very slow. The most unfortunate situation was my manicure began to chip and peel after only several days.
The location is great and the building is beautiful. Although slow, the staff is friendly enough. Perhaps it is a salon for hair and not nail care.
