I've eaten here a number of times and have had a lot of the dishes -- I have yet to be disappointed with anything I've eaten. I've lived in a number of states where ""Authentic"" Mexican is advertised a lot, including California and Texas, but this restaurant has got to be my favorite -- it's not a chain so they can make the food how they want and not how a corporate office interprets ""Authentic.""
The Serving Staff is excellent and always very friendly and attentive. You always get a basket of hot chips with a very tasty salsa to begin - if you like some extra heat you can ask for the fresh pico de gallo. Lunch specials come with a cup of soup - the chicken vegetable and chicken tortilla are both excellent with the tortilla being a touch towards the spicy side. Lunch specials are very well priced and come out to you hot, fresh and quick.
Dinners and regular meal selections from the menu are bigger and almost all come with rice and beans. The Chicken Milanese is outstanding! The burritos, flautas, chimichangas, enchiladas and tacos (shrimp and steak are both great!) are all dishes I've tried and were all large portions at a very reasonable price.
Let's talk about dessert now...they have a few desserts including fried ice cream which is excellent and a delicious Tres Leches Cake (Three Milk Cake) which is soooooo moist, but my favorite is the Flan - it's the best I've ever tasted and is baked fresh, not purchased from another bakery!
I found this restaurant in February of 2011 and will be going there for years to come! Become a regular there and you won't regret it.
