What ever happened to the quality of service at Raccuglia & Son.? Where did all the compassion for those in mourning go? I used Raccuglia & Son for years and was always happy with the service I received from Vinny. His son Philip was never as warm as his father was. But I am blown away by the recent experience with this funeral home and can reassure you I will never use them again. Nor will I ever recommend them to others. Since when does an undertaker come to your home the day of your sudden loss and ask for his money in full before providing the service. Where is the compassion for those who are suffering the loss? Since when is money first before providing the service. There comes a time when a business needs to move forward and provide a real bill to his customers . Not a scribbled amount on a back of a business card. What ever happen to an itemized bill. What do you just pull an amount out of your hat? Not fair or legal to your customers. You need to be honest to your customers before promising them the highest quality of service. They are not receiving it. I miss the good old days when this was truly a family business which truly served the community. So sad to see things have changed. Looking for a new undertaker!
