Coming from the Northeast, where every pizza restaurant is NY style pizza, I've had my share of good pizza's. After a year here in Raleigh, I stumbled upon Amore with a friend and cannot tell you how happy I am. I've easily paid double back home for pizza this good, and try to eat here for lunch at least once a week. They have a good selection, that seems to change up a bit now and then. So far I've tried the regular cheese, pepperoni, and that slice with the ricotta and tomato which I can never remember its name. Definitely a good choice. Even if you only eat there once, it'll give any native southerner a good idea of what REAL NY pizza tastes like.
