OWNER SAYS ""I DON'T CARE!"" 1/2/2012

To quote owner Gary Martin, ?I DON?T CARE.? We purchased a refrigerator from Martin?s Family Appliances 2 months ago and saw it at Best Buy this weekend for about HALF THE PRICE! When we made the purchase, Mr. Martin was quick to welcome us to the Martin family. Today I went to the store (on 4th Blvd.) and showed Mr. Martin the Best Buy ad. His response: We NEVER PRICE MATCH OR MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT. I explained that it was the EXACT SAME MODEL, but he claimed that the manufacturer makes special refrigerators just for Martin?s Appliances which have a 10 year warranty on the motor. Riiiiiiiiight? I expressed my dissatisfaction with the treatment he was giving a new customer and asked if this is how he treats ?family.? He said ?I DON?T CARE.? Buyer beware! I would have rated this business ""no stars"" but a rating was required. more
