I made an appt for a haircut and was told I would be seeing a person I have good things about and whose haircuts are $45. When I got there for my appt, I was told the appt was with someone else (at $45) who had cut my hair previously and who I did not want again. I was then somewhat reluctantly offered a person whose haircuts are $70. I chose to go with the $70 person even tho no discount was offered. She was delightful and did a fine job, but I did not enjoy having to pay the unexpected extra money. I also don't like how when you pay for your haircut, they ask you how much you want to tip and then add it to the bill. i would rather add it myself.
