Terrible customer service 9/19/2011

I just got home from visiting this store and I am still shaking I am so upset. I am 8 months pregnant and I have never been treated the way I was treated today by the manager at this store. I walked in and asked one of the employees about their return policy of an item that was purchase from my registry the day before and appeared to have been opened already. She went to the manager and came back and said that they don't accept returns and that she can't help me any further. She was giving me a lot of attitude so I asked to speak with the manager. She said that manager is busy and can't come to the front to speak with me and that if I wanted to talk to him I would have to walk to the back of the store myself. As soon as I approached Scott, the manager, he said I thought we made the return policy clear to you, we can't help you. I said but don't you even want to hear what I have to say first. He got really rude and said that he didn't have time and that if I didn't leave he would call security to escort me out??? I was so shocked, what had I done??? I said Ok I will leave but I will call the corporate to complain and in response he said: ""GOOD, they are waiting for your phone call. Bye, have a good day now"" I am still in disbelief of what happened. I am so mad and feel humiliated. I had to drive to the Agoura Hills store to finally get the help I needed. How can a big franchise like this promote someone like Scott? Avoid shopping from them if you can. It is really not worth the energy and the horrible horribel customer service. more
