My sister is getting married and we wanted to have her bachelorette party here. I have been completely overwhelmed with my career and other MOH duties for the wedding and asked my mother to help me make a reservation for her bachelorette party.
We wanted a table toward the front to give the Bride-To-Be a little more attention from the comedians. This was the main reason we even wanted to go to a comedy club.
My mother called to make the reservation, gave her the credit card number and other necessary information requested. When my mother asked for a table up front she was quickly cut off and told, ""We don't reserve tables over the phone."" She asked to speak to the manager to explain she did not have a computer at home in order to reserve a table up front. She was then told, ""I'm sorry ma'am you'll have to find someone else to help you"" In those exact words from a manager!!!
My mother called me completely distraught and nearly in tears, because of how embarrassed she was for not having a computer and fearing her daughter the Bride-To-Be might not get a reservation at her favorite comedy club.
What kind of customer service is that?!?!?! If someone has clearly explained they do not have a computer and you ALREADY HAVE the pertinent information needed to quickly jump on the computer, that is right in front of you, why couldn
