Horrible dry cleaners, dirty shop with a mean owner!
I was new to St. Augustine and looking for a new cleaners so I stopped by 199 thinking they would have decent prices. When you first walk inside the place is cramped and disorganized, but I talked to the owner he seemed like a nice enough guy and dropped my stuff off.
When I received my blanket back, it had been ruined, this was my favorite quilt and I'd had it dry cleaned before with no problems. However when it was returned, the material was now stiff, there were small stains on the edges and the stuffing on the inside had been bunched up and was bumpy beyond repair. When I brought this up with owner he was rude, aggressive and stubborn. He refused to admit any fault, and wouldn't even reimburse the cost of dry cleaning it. So now I'm left with a ruined blanket.
I will never go back to this cleaners again, the management is rude and unhelpful, and the quality of work done is horrible.
