I started out at Ashleywood's Equestrian Center 10 years ago. I made more long lasting friends there than I have in school. Plus, now because of Ann's wonderful instruction and the fun saturday and monday ""Saddle Clubs"" I improved so much I work other people's horses now. I am such a good rider I take firsts consistantly. Both on my Paso Fino and my 24 year old arabian mare that was beloved by many of the AshleyWood's people. In the six years my arabian lived there, not ONCE did she colic, NOT once was she malnourished, NOT once did she ever reiceve any kind of mistreatment. I would still be there if my dad didn't get a job in texas and we had to move.
But the trails are awesome, they have a pond to swim in with your horses. The horse shows are ALWAYS fun! Because they have an awesome, fun show team. Not only that but the barn is CLEAN. And I mean, seriously. It's clean.
I really miss my pals at Ashleywoods. And I can't wait for a trip to come see them! So I better see tons of new faces. (:
