I ordered a pump and filter from this company in June 2010 because they had the best price by far. After I had already placed my order, I read horrible reviews and thought for sure that I had entered a scam. I was literally sick to my stomach thinking I would never see that $400 again. I called customer service and they were very polite, gave me a tracking number for my order, and sure enough, it was here exactly when it was supposed to be. It didn't even take a week. I swore I was going to leave them a positive review just for it being such a pleasant transaction and then I totally forgot about it.
Recently our pump began making funny noises, like it's trying to hard or something. My husband was sure that the bearings (sp?) had gone bad. My husband called National Pool Wholesalers told them what was going on. He had no order number, no receipt, nothing. I mean, we bought the pump and filter from them over a year ago. The customer service guy looked up the order number and receipt for him. On top of that, he replaced the entire pump at no charge! He didn't even require my husband to pay to send the old pump back! All my husband had to do was get the stickers off of it so they knew which pump to replace. Absolutely top-notch customer service. Totally exceeded our expectations!
I can't speak for everyone else, obviously others have had a bad experience just from reading reviews. But generally, you only hear the negative and not the positive. This is probably why I never left the positive review after the first great experience. But after the customer service we received and the replacement pump, I'm making it a point to take the time and say that we were more than pleased with our purchase and the company itself. Very impressed! Will definitely be buying from again!
