We purchased some fruit from Lanni Orchards fruit stand at the Weymouth Farmer's Market this morning (3rd September 2011). We bought 4 medium sized apples, 4 very small pears pears, 4 medium peaches, 2 small nectarines and a small box of plums. We were charged $24! On questioning how it came to this weight, he re-weighed it and decided then he had overcharged us by $3.25.
Even so, it was a ridiculous amount of money and I think we were still way-overcharged.
If you buy anything from them check the weights and the corresponding price.
By the way, the fruit was OK, nothing fantastic.
