Terrible Customer Service 9/22/2011

Purchased new Ford Focus 4 months ago at Towne Ford in Redwood City CA. After 4000 miles, back tire had blow out on side wall after a small scrape against a curb. Towne Ford was not willing to take care of this issue and instructed us to take tire to Continental to deal with them on warranty. Our customer service experience was very poor. The tire should not be so fragile that a small bump against a curb causes a blow out. I have recently came back to Ford after having Japanese cars for years due to good press. This type of customer service experience was not what I expected and I am very disappointed. more
