had to get the front brakes on my 2000 Mercedes replaced recently. I had Les Schwab check them out and they told me I needed a whole new rear & front brake system including calipers for almost $1000 bucks! Something didn't feel right. So i found Vaheed's Midas shop here on yahoo local and he sounded nice on the phone, so I decided to have him check it out for a 2nd opinion.
Well truth be told, he did a thorough check and indicated that all I needed was the front rotars and pads replaced. I only paid $400 for that job including labor, not bad on a Mercedes at all. Bottom line is that Vaheed (the owner of the shop) is extremely knowledgeable about cars and is completely honest. He will never try to up-sell something. from this great experience, he has developed a loyal customer. I hope his shop will remain there for many years to come.
