My pain started in June of 2006. I hurt my lower back from a simple exercise. I over extended my torso while stretching by doing vertical hand reach. The sharp pain however went away after 5 minutes of immobility. At a later date, the problem reoccurred at work, when I twisted my torso while reaching for a file folder. My upper body was now leaning to the left for balance because it felt like my right foot is shorter. So I was using the outer edge of my right foot to keep myself upright. I walked with a cane for over six months because of the consequential joint pains in my left knee and my right ankle.
