Ok, here's what you need to know. This place is where the pro's go. If you're a professional plumber you're going to this place, no doubt about it.
I am not a professional plumber, the guys don't care. They're pipe geeks, friendly, and willing to help me. Which is what I need because I'm working on my plumbing. Feel me.
So I walk in and explain my problem and, get this, they usually start off with, ""Here's what you need"" and explain how to do it and everything. Works every time. One time the cast iron pipes below my house starting leaking and I had this terrible smell coming from a small lake that had accumulated there. Omg, I'm thinking this is going to take my life savings to fix this thing. Nope, no way. I head down to Slakey Bros. and Dick, he's the best one there, tells me I need to update my pipes to plastic abs and then proceeds to tell me how to do it. He does such a good job of explaining it that I actually attempted it and, go figure, saved myself about 2 thousand dollars. Life saver's!
So far I've installed to low flow toilets, a handful of facets, hose bibs, and repaired a leak inside my wall, tho I still have to fix the hole in the wall with some sheet rock, whatever that is. Dick will tell me how to do it.
