This review is for customer service. 1 star is over rated!!! I had made a reservation for a party of 8, and called in to ask for individual tabs for all my guests. Manager Jose said that's not their policy, but would make an exception provided that we understand that this may delay the service. I said that's a not a problem. On the day of the party, I called back to confirm reservation and the requested individual tabs, I was told by the ""hostess"" that I need to speak to the manager again, since no notation was noted on the reservation. I asked if the hostess could check everything with her manager for me. She replied that she is only the hostess and is busy, and I would need to ask the manager on duty that day myself. ( A hostess whose job does not include customer service!!) Manager comes on the phone and told me that she can't do individual tabs even tho this has been arranged with another manager. Since that manager is not on duty that day and she is, she gets to have the final say. Her reason is that one tab for table of 8 would make her job easier!!! Duh!!!!! Where is the customer service in all this??????? The only reason I chose this restaurant is the location!!! For an overpriced mediocre menu, with ""zero"" understanding in reaching out with service customers.....I wish them luck!! Go somewhere else if you have the choice....plenty of great restaurants who value your business in the bay are!!! more
