Country Keepsakes is one of my favorite places to eat in the KC Metro. I've taken friends and family and everyone has loved it. They kind of do themselves a disservice by calling themselves a tearoom which makes you think of doilies and lots of pink everywhere. Much more lowkey and 'neutral' than that; guys can go and be perfectly comfortable.
