The center had a Christmas party so kids could perform for parents. It was all well until the end when gift boxes were distributed. Mind you this is a daycare center (infant to pre-K), and one would think there would be age-appropriate gifts. I was annoyed to open it up with my not-yet-two year old child peeking at the present to find a cardboard box filled with hard candies! Afterall parents were reminded more than several times to not forget to take a gift box before leaving: I likely would have left without one and wish I had! 2) The Brighton director gave notice of resignation, but the center's owners made her leave IMMEDIATELY. Literally, after nine months of the children being greeted by the staff person, POOF, the director is gone without explanation from the owners and children are left to wonder. With the owner having to cover for the missing director I overhear her talking about $ to the other staff and nothing else. As a parent, you want to know the directors care about THE CHILDREN and not money. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Other reviews of this center have been negative and the only positive one was left by an owner's husband.
