I have recently been told I can not take my last 2 classes I need to graduate because of a time limit emposed by the Department of Education. I spoke with the DOE and they said that they are unfamiliar with this claim. I have been failed by teachers for their own gratification several times during my schooling with ITT-Tech. Furthermore, I was made promises as to class sizes, tutoring and lab availability when I enrolled that were all lies construed to get me to go their. AND YES YOU CAN GO TO A STATE RUN COLLEGE FOR JUST OVER A 10th OF THE COST OF THIS SCHOOL AND GET THE SAME DEGREE AND EDUCATION! I have even been told by employers that they DO NOT hire ANYONE with an ITT-Tech degree. Also after being denied my appeal to be able to take these last two classes and speaking with the DOE I was told that their appeals process for this kind of situation does not coincide with the DOE's regulations for this kind of process. A teacher even told our class once that since he was quitting he would tell us what went on in a meeting the school had about them being in danger of losing their accreditation to be a school. He told us about them telling everyone to lie and pass students in order to get "more butts in the seats." This school is a scam. They also have you sign a piece of paper saying they can send back any overages you may receive in your student loans to "help you out." This does not happen the way you think. The school gets you these loans and sits on the overages. I did the math. I am not making this up. When I approached them about this they replied "Well you signed papers saying we could." But then they tell you that you have to get more money because you don't have enough to pay for the next quarter? If you want to lose badly on school then by all means, go to ITT-Tech. I PROMISE, IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
