I used to go to this place to get my taxes done, but when I returned home from deployment they were closed. I intended to return when they were open but drove by the Liberty Tax office, which was open and dropped in. I discovered H&R had been doing my Michigan taxes wrong for about 20 years. This mistake has cost me about $4k a year. Would not have believed the mistake without proof myself as I believed the ads about H&R tax preparers being so good. The Liberty office printed information for me from the Michigan web site -- the rules on active military pay are clear. Don't know how H&R could make such a big mistake, but won't go back and ask.
