I recently started my children in the Royal Academy for Music's in-home lesson program. My husband and I were a little weary of having a stranger come to our home, as I am a recent stay at home mother. A neighbor referred me to this school as her kids take lessons at their Shrewsbury site and she was very happy with the school.
We started about 7 months ago and my kids love having their lessons at home. I can also get chores done while they are in their lessons which is great. The quality of their lessons vs. where they used to go for lessons are just not comparable. The Royal Academy is so much more professional and their program is much more formal and well organized. They are very friendly and encouraging.
I have since referred 4 friends to them and we continue to be amazed by their care for their students and their professionalism. Hope this helps someone who is considering lessons. They are great!
