as one who considers pets to be members of the family and celebrates their birthdays, talks to them all the time because they're such good listeners, and can't resist those big pleading eyes when i'm on the couch and they're not, i have had peace of mind knowing that i could depend on the staff at southland to take care of my pets as if they were there very own. in the 20+ years i have known them, i have never been told they couldn't see my pet on the day i called with a concern. i have had prescriptions, special food, and messages ready to go and left for me at the office when i said i would be there to pick them up. they have set up referrals and/or consultations with specialists when necessary and have been able to assist with getting quick appointments with them. i have been the recipient of their kindness, empathy, and support when \r
tough decisions had to be made. i trust and respect their experience and judgement when it isn't always clear to me what is the best thing to do for my pet. they have a well-run, well equipped office with a client oriented staff. of utmost importance, though, they are excellent clinicians and technicians, and their love for animals (and their owners) is evident with every encounter i have ever had with them.
