After searching the internet I finally tracked down the Ford Flex I wanted - right color and equipment - at Apple Ford in Columbia MD. I spent about a week emailing back and forth with the salesman, Neville Dick, over the price and the details of the deal. Since I was in New York and would be traveling 4 hours to pick up the car, I wanted to be sure everything went smoothly and conveyed this to Neville. Somewhere in the middle of the negotiations it occurred to me to ask for the odometer reading. I knew it should only have a few miles on it and wanted to make sure this car hadn't been heavily used as a demo. I didn't think it was a problem because their pictures showed the car with the tire protectors still on and since this was a pretty loaded car, I figured they weren't using it for demos anyway. Except the salesman kept putting off giving me the answer. In the hub-bub of making the deal and travel arrangements and getting insurance for the new car, I almost let it slide.\r
