I went to Ritchey Cadillac to test drive a car. I really liked the car, but I was not ready to purchase the vehicle as I was just car shopping to find a car that would suit me. I allowed the car salesman to take a look at my credit history to see what my credit score was. I was not ready to make the purchase at the point in time, so I never made any arrangements for a trade in value of my current car nor discussed the final purchase price of the car I test drove. A month later I started to receive loan documents from 4 different banks. The dealership had taken it upon themselves to apply for car loans on my behalf. My credit score is now lowered and I have the headache of receiving loan documents at my place of employment. Do not test drive a car here because it will turn into more than just a test drive.
