I've always been nervous about taking my extremely hyper and hard-to-handle black lab to the groomer. I was never able to crate train him. In the past when I had taken him to a groomer, he would be barking nonstop and the groomers always looked agitated when I picked him up. When Kim put him in a kennel when I brought him in, I thought to myself, he is never going to stop barking. When I came back to pick him up, he was on his best behaviour, sitting happily and quietly in the kennel. I can't explain it, she just has a way with dogs. You can also tell that he likes to go see her. It's a relief not to worry about him, and to know he'll be in good hands when I take him in.
