Well this was my 2nd order from Blazzin Pizza in Vancouver (9904 NE Hwy 99). Gotta say that I was VERY, VERY disappointed not only in the quality of the food but also the accuracy of my order. The first time I ordered a Veggie Pizza and subbed the artichoke hearts out for chicken. The pizza was priced right but the flavor itself fell flat. Not as good as I was hoping but it was OK...
This 2nd time I thought I would try something different so I opted for a 6"" sub with a side of Blazzin Boneless Wings (10 piece). I ordered a toasted Philly on WHEAT Bread with Steak, Onions, Green Peppers, Garlic, Mushrooms, Tomato and Provolone Cheese. For the Wings I asked for the sauce to be on the side...TWICE. I was very clear about that and the woman I spoke with repeated it back to me so I was sure that she heard me. I'm not a fan of heavy sauce...I like to control how much sauce there is and I was not sure if I would like the sauce they have. Normally they smother the wings in sauce. So, I asked for 2 small containers of Sweet Heat BBQ & Sweet & Sour (1/2 the amount in each so they would not charge me extra).
Now the website menu says that ""All Subs come with your choice of Bread, Cheese, Condiments, Vegetables and Original Tim's Chips"".
This is what I got:
***Toasted Philly on a ""white"" bread roll sliced through (the stuffing fell all over the place, bread fell apart and meat was very salty...not sure if I got the garlic...did not taste any unless they used ""garlic salt"" hence the salty flavor.)
***No chips (I had to call them on the phone to tell them they forgot this...they had no idea it came with the sub)
***Blazzin Boneless Wings covered in sauce split between 2 containers (had to ""wipe"" the sauce off one container of wings...Sweet Heat BBQ...because it was too spicy for my taste)
Conclusion:
I called the store 3 times dealing with these issues. Not once was I offered a credit or a replacement. I did not really get an apology and on the 3rd call I told them they just lost a customer. Response...none. They really did not seem to care.
Sorry guys but this is no way to keep customers...especially when you are a new business competing against so many others in the same geographical area. Granted the loss of my business probably didn't make a dent in their overall revenue. They seemed to have a lot of people waiting when I walked into their store the first time and maybe those people do not care as long as they get a good price for their dinner.
If you are looking for a pizza place with an affordable and tasty menu...well...keep moving on. This is NOT the place.
