I want to first say that I had a horrible phobia of dentist! I was seen today at this office and ive read some of these reviews and can't believe these people are talking about the same office! I think there must be a confussion with the other 3 or 4 kingstowne dental practices in the area. I also was told that ownership has changed over in the last year. I was seen as a FREE consult and the service I recived by their periodontal specilist (i think his name was Dr. Miranda) was impeccable. The front desk receptionist Jenna really professional and sweet and also very good at what she does. (it can't be easy working with patients who are moody and in pain MOST of the time). Upon leaving Jenna went through my treatment plan step by step with me and reinterated that the treatment estimate was just that an ESTIMATE only! She explained my benefits to me and let me know that there may be certain clauses under the coverage which may change paymet on the claim all together. And that there was no way to know 100% unless they send in a request which i guess is permission for treatment. Overall I am happy with the Doctor, the assistants, and manager of the office. The assistant (I want to say her name is mala) was very sweet and made me feel comfortable. She even chit chatted whith me while the doctor reviwed my xrays and read my file. The Office Manager Angela who actually made my appointment made me feel comfortable answering questions about the doctors background and even went as far as to call me back once she recieved my breakdown from my new insurance to let me know everything was a GO. and to give me some idea of what I can expect when I come in. I plan on returing to this practice WITH my family.
