Went to this clinic for follow up care following a heart attack and stent placement. The hospital records, which I gave the clinic a copy of, reported that I was still left with blockages of 80% and 95%. The doctor took me off the nitrate that was prescribed by the hospital which seems a bit rash in retrospect.
A year after the heart attack the cardiologist suggested a Nuclear Stress test to check for blockages. Since I already knew I had 2 good size ones I probably shouldn't have bothered but he talked me into it. They estimated my share of the charges at $550. Should have been $178. Took me 7 weeks to talk them into ""starting the refund process"" which takes another 4-6 weeks.
The nuclear stress test identified no blockages, not even the ones identified by the prior surgery, so I am fine right?
6 weeks later I went to the ER with chronic chest pains and had to have stents put in the old blockages. Makes me wonder if they even looked at the results.
