For a girl, one of the most important experience is purchasing her wedding dress. I finally found mine and did my research for the best place to alter my dress. When I arrived about 2 months prior to Silhouettes & Profiles, I was surpirsed at how little they try to accommodate you for days or times. They claimed they were always busy but were defintely willing to work with me because I gave them enough time to alter the dress. They said there was a woman that came in and needed their dress altered in 2 weeks, I planned way in advance and felt comfortable that they could alter the dress in time. I was WRONG! I repeatedly went back because they could not get it right. My wedding dress is a lace dress and everytime they try to alter one thing they ripped holes into the lace. On top of this, they charged me hundreds of dollars (more than $500)! On my last fitting, I had thought they fixed all the holes in the lace but when I returned home I realized they did not and when I looked at the receipt they double charged me and charged me for things that they did not do! This was the worst experience I had and I would NEVER recommend anybody to these people. They were rude and are not worth a aggravation. I was thankful my mother was able to fix the holes, somebody that does not even work in alterations!
