This store has everything you would expect from a 7-11. The shop clerks are wonderful and will bend over backwards to make you feel like you are a valuable customer here. I needed a reload card for a pre-paid credit card and I only had checks to pay with, so the clerk set up the transaction so that I could get the cash back I needed to buy the reload card. That was a great experience.
However, the next time I went to this particular 7-11, I learned that the store clerks were told by their manager that they couldn't accept my checks any more. I have used checks at 7-11 for gas and groceries for three years now without any problem. I have never had a check bounce or be rejected at a 7-11 before.
I personally will not return to the 7-11 at 109 south and 300 east in Salt Lake City because I received the impression that the manager there treats his/her customers with suspicion and rejects valid forms of payment.
