I have driven from Birmingham to eat at Chamblee's several times and have never had anything other than delicious food and good service. Chamblee's serves gourmet food, so the portions are smaller than what you find in casual dinner houses like Macaroni Grill, but the quality is excellent and the prices are considerably lower than gourmet restaurants in larger cities. The bread is a small ciabatta loaf, sliced diagonally, that is big enough for four people to have two - four slices each, and if you eat it all they will gladly bring you more. My favorite dishes are the bruschetta and the ravioli with grilled chicken in a rose sauce. Every one of their desserts is delicious, and I especially like their version of bread pudding.
