I should have known......... 8/19/2011

First of all, if your reading this right now, do you not think the review before this one might have been written by someone invested in this establishment? Like so many others (it seems) i had heard nothing but good things about this place. I should have trusted my gut instinct that nothing in scumbia, pa could be of any worth. Against my better judgement and an extremely low blood sugar level, i decided to deviate from my monotonous but comfortable nihilistic existence. When i got there with my wife, the people in front of us looked pissed and left shortly thereafter. I was later met with the ruminating aroma of body odor from the older man. Being in columbia and expecting this much, i pressed on. No worries, I have reservations. Last name? This was confirmed by pointing at the nearest printed object by a computer. More waiting. Went to the bar. stayed at the bar because it seemed easier. was given the wrong beer. still trying to conceal my contempt for the incompetent bartender from the wife. she asked which bottled beers were available in the cooler and her response was an exhaustive attempt to recite beers he may have heard ordered in the past 3 hours. i ordered the prime rib, he had to check to see if they had it. Nope. The food they did have available was ok and delivered around the start of friday night karaoke. Old drunk men singing jonny cash songs was fun 10 years ago. Why am i still here. My blood sugar is now stable enough to realize that every decision i had made up until that time was carried out in a delusional state of psychosis and i am now feeling well enough to leave this place. Ignoring every ""tell-tale"" sign of an anxiety attack, i left this establishment feeling confused about my station in life and angry that marijuana is still illegal in the state of pennsylvania. I will be canceling my plans for saturday because this night has taken so much from me, i feel as though i might not ever get it back. this experience was summarized on a non-itemized receipt that simply had a numerical monetary amount printed on it. i guess this cost $60? more
