Last week I purchased my 1st home and used NewCastle for the mortgage. My real estate agent from @ Properties referred me to Jim Quist at NewCastle. He explained our options, locked in a low rate, kept me updated throughout the entire process and we closed on schedule with no last minute changes. I did have one suprise however. A few days before closing Jim was able to lower my interest rate by 0.125%, and I didn't even ask for a lower rate. I ended up with 2.875% on a 5-year ARM with no lender fees! I couldn't be happier.
