I happened upon this boutique while visiting a friend in Queens. It was my first store to look at bridal gowns. Although I live in Manhattan and anticipated finding a dress there- I decided to give this store a try since I could tell from the window that they had a beautiful selection of gowns and bridesmaids dresses to choose from.
It was a Saturday and the store was very busy but the selection seemed quite extensive and very nice-especially for their destination collection, so I decided to book an appointment. The staff was very friendly and to my surprise- they were able to book me for the next day as opposed to a lengthy week or two in most upscale places in the city.
I found an amazing dress there, but decided to keep looking as it was the first store and dress I tried on. I looked at three more places only to go back to Alexandra and pick the first dress I tried on there. The dress is beautiful and they gave me a great discount too.
Contrary to the email below; the staff is very friendly and Joseph was beyond attentive and helpful. I normally do not write reviews, but had such a great experience there and feel that people should know about this boutique. It is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. It can be quite busy there ( this is my only complaint), but that is what I would expect from a small boutique. As long as you have an appointment- the staff is very attentive to your needs.
