Jasper was out to our home very quickly, same day of initial phone call for an estimate. Representative was professional and able to schedule us within a week. Promised job would take a single day, approximately 6:45am to 7pm. This was important to me as I have kids and needed to be able to work around their schedules. Day of roofing, they arrived about 6:50am (on time) and worked very quickly. It appeared to be very efficient. About 1pm I asked the representative about our shed, which was also to have its roof replaced. He assured me that about an hour prior to completion, one of the workers would head out to the shed and take care of that part. The representative also asked when my spouse would be home from work and I gave him a timeframe - the rep said he'd be here at 5pm to review the job with us as he anticipated it would actually be completed prior to 7pm. I noticed as the afternoon progressed that the workers got slower and slower but no one was moving out to the shed. About 5pm we called the rep (who had not shown up like he'd said) to inform him the shed was still not touched and no one was working with any urgency to get to that part of the job. The rep said he would call the foreman. About 7pm the workers cleaned up and left, not having touched the shed. No representative was present to review the job. We were left hanging without any communication as to what was happening. I called the rep again, and got voicemail. I left a message to call us and tell us what was going on. He did call my husband back and said someone made an error and didn't order enough shingles so they would be back the next day to finish the job. So much for a guarantee of one day's work. So they returned the next day to finish the job. I did go walking through the yard and picked up some pieces of trash and a roofing nail that their cleaning tools didn't pick up. The rep came over for the walkthrough/review and I notified him that I did pick up some hazardous items in the yard. We also noticed some odd dirt on our garage door and driveway from where their truck was sitting. To the credit of the rep, he did come over and pressure wash it clean. The roof does look nice, hopefully we will not have any issues with it. I felt though that there was some definite lack of communication regarding the situation with the shed, especially since I brought it to their attention early in the afternoon with plenty of time to remedy the situation.
