While Lago has a nice view of Lake Baldwin and is nicely decorated, finer service and more reasonable prices are found elsewhere. Most of my employees prefer Jack's as the premiere restaurant in Baldwin Park, but I took a chance and went to Lago out of curiosity. The food was decent, but a tad pricey - though not unreasonable. I had a valid gift check that was not honored. Just a ""special touch"" at the end of a meal to really have a lasting impression. Other than the view, I recommend Jack's for Baldwin Park. If you seek customer oriented service with a view, maybe Hillstone/Houston's or Enzo's. I'd be surprised if Lago stays in business with this customer treatment.
