I thought that when you bought a $200.00 bridesmaid dress that it would look presentable when you picked it up. The polyester -nylon dress, that was made in China, looked like it just came out of a shipping crate off the boat. I asked if they pressed the dresses. I was told that the person you get to do the alterations usually does the pressing. They don't do the alterations at the store. They give you names of people who do alterations
. We have no choice but to put up with this very bad service because we are just one of several bridesmaids and at this point we need the dresses to match.
I feel like taking the dress to the dry cleaners to be pressed and sending them the bill. With all the gathering at the bust and waist...this is not an easy dress to press. The fabric in these areas is very wrinkled as well. If we didn't feel like we were held captive because of the wedding circumstance we would have refused the dress.
