I purchased a Groupon for an oil change. Upon arrival, the man at the front desk (who I believe may be the owner) rudely informed me I would need to make an appointment. When I advised him I did not know I needed to make an appointment, he curtly told me ""It says it right there on the Groupon."" Which, upon multiple inspections of the Groupon after leaving, I found him to be absolutely wrong. Since I had already purchased the Groupon, I made an appointment.
Upon my return and while awaiting my oil change, which took about an hour and a half, I overheard the man at the front desk tell multiple customers that they cannot always find the source of squealing brakes. I found this to be odd, seeing as how they are a MECHANIC shop. The man at the front desk spent about an hour explaining to a young woman that they would need to replace her brake pads and motors another four or five times before the squealing would dissapear. When my oil change was completed, the man gave me a list of problems with my car. He then, with all the geniality of a used car salesmen moving in for the kill, gave me an estimate for the fluids flushed and air filter replaced. 1,000.00 dollars is what he quoted me. Unbelievable. I happen to know that it does not take long at all to flush fluids, and an air filter costs 20 bucks, tops. I took my car to another mechanic and got everything done for about 165.
If you know absolutely nothing about cars, this business will not hesitate to rob you blind. Please, take your car elsewhere.
