This is a SERVICE review. Kevin Peirce is Kaady's very good technician and mechanic and will stay with the problem until it's resolved. Mine was a sudden lack of hot water but machine ran fine- he tried 2 different switches. This is a rebuilt/used wash/dry combo Kenmore. I initially paid $50 service call; $75 labor; $40 temp switch and $25 belt. (double the cost of Kenmore parts website)
Because the problem was not solved with a new part, he kept returning until it got fixed. At no extra charge. He even replaced another part free trying to see if it was that. I always tried to be nice, and he acknowledged that on the second trip here. Doesn't mean I wasn't frustrated - but what could I do? He stayed on the problem until he found a short and fixed it. The short was between the temp switch (the 2nd one) and the setting/timer gears. All the parts in the world wouldn't have sorted that out. I appreciate his staying with the problem until it was resolved. He understood my need for Kaady's to be fair with me. I am a senior and won't see new appliance money for a good long time. Kevin Peirce is good for Kaady's. I also knew this machine was hardy and able to keep going. I had loaded an honest review of this store and the mechanic until such time as it was resolved and I was not taken for more money. Today I put the good review on. It took a number of tries but the problem resolved. Satisfied customer.
