I contacted them to try to help a kitten that
had been living outside my apartment building.
I advised them that I might have to let it
back outside with it's family if I could not
get help for him.
They emailed back a scalding, vitriolic,
threatening response saying that ""dumping""
animals was illegal, and that they refused to
help ""me"" (because I was a ""cat dumper""),
never mind the fact that this whole situation
was about the kitten, not me! This was
followed by a diatribe about what superior
people they are.
So I guess the moral of the story is that no
good deed goes unpunished, and that this
organization seems to be in it for thier own
ego.
