My mother recently took her car to a chain store in Rockwall which shall remain nameless (F*r*st*ne). She was given an estimate of about $1400 for a repair. She then took it to Horizon Auto Center. She was advised that over $700 of the bill should have been a manufacturer's recall. They told her how to make the claim. The other part was totally wrong. They fixed the actual problem. After the manufacture repaired the problem for nothing and Horizon fixed the correct problem, my mother ended up paying a little under $400 of the other store's $1400 estimate. They could have done what the chain store did and charged here to fix the manufacture recall item, but they did not. They were honest and completely trustworthy.
