I had taken my car in to another place when it wouldn't start and they told me that the battery was on its last legs (although they initially told me the starter was probably the issue). I wasn't surprised as it was the original battery on a 2004 car. I thought it was odd though that they told me the battery was dead only because when I tried to start the car, the radio turned on. Anyway, I left the original place and the car was fine for about a week and a half. At that point the car didn't start again, but after trying a time or two it was fine. I chalked it up to a fluke until it didn't start again a couple of days later. Fed up with the place who just changed out my battery, I turned to City Search to find Lucas Auto Care
I was able to start the car eventually to get it to Lucas, that they would try to diagnose the car straight away. I was more than happy to leaving the car with them so they could figure out the actual problem rather than just fixing stuff that wasn't really the source of the problem (like the last place). When the car actually didn't start for them and they were able to figure out the actual problem very quickly. They explained the problem to me from beginning to end and they gave me options on how to proceed.
What you should know about Lucas Auto Care:
Expect them to talk you through what is wrong with your car. They won't treat you like an idiot and they will be very helpful when giving you options.
These people are super nice and I fully intend to go back the next time I need service to my car.
