Let me start out positive, with the good things about this office before I tell you all the negative. The staff at her office is Wonderful! They are always very kind and helpful. The doctor should feel very lucky to have found such a great staff that seems to work together nicely, even after how she talks to them. Dr Chui could use a coarse in professional etiquette. Also, quite frankly she has no respect for people's time. Be prepared to wait at least 30 min. past your appointment time, before being seated. This woman can be VERY long-winded and explain things to you in ""dental language"" as if you could understand It, let alone my child understand.. I was forced to sit and listen to her even after I explained I really did not have the time, and from the looks of the office she did not have the time either. After being unpleasantly lectured I asked the young lady at the front desk to explain to me what the doctor just said.
Not only from my experience, but from friends and neighbors too, she keeps her patients in braces much longer than she says she's going to. How can a doctor be such a perfectionist when she has crooked teeth of her own.
Be aware if your children begin braces young they will have them on all through high school. This doctor does not believe in breaks. She keeps them on until your forced to continue treatment on the second half.
--------------I'd like to add that I find it ironic that all of Dr Chui's ""good"" reviews were all posted in Dec 2010. (seems a bit fishey to me)
