First, I love Cold Stone and have visited this location many times. During my last visit I found that the regular employees were gone. It was odd that on a Saturday afternoon, only one employee (she said she had been there a short while) was working. Besides my family, no one else was there (and it was hot outside). I ordered a ""Like It"" and learned at the register that it was $3.99...ok, I know they are a little more expensive than other ice cream places, but that seemed a bit excessive.
It appears that new ownership came in and let the other employees go to cut costs, hired a new person (probably at lower wages) and then hiked the prices up. I hope to find another Cold Stone nearby with a bit more reasonable prices.
