Our son received good care from Dr. Plunk. The issue was not with the care, but with how little our insurance covered on the visit. Dr. Plunk is not in-net with any insurers, thus even though we have good insurance, we were not given insurance discounts and would end up paying 75% of the bill out of pocket. To add to this, we were misled by his office staff upon booking our first two appointments and were surprised by this when we got our bills. When we approached them with our concerns, we were given the standard answer that there information is clearly posted on their website. When it comes to my family's finances, I will not be misled by this dentist and his semi-fraudulent billing practices.
