I went in to get a major haircut- past my shoulders one length to a bob, and I do love my new cut. However, when I first met my stylist the first thing he did was question me about whether or not I knew him in a way that wasn't friendly and implied that I was not being truthful. I just moved to New Orleans from out of state, so sorry, friend. Then, in my consultation I told the stylist what I wanted (a bob, shorter in back, longer in front), and he sharply questioned my "commitment" to having that hairstyle. Am I SURE I want that? It takes work. What do you care? Just cut my hair. He was cold and pretty unfriendly for most of the cut, with a judgy tone of voice and not very conversational, and towards the end of my cut he said he was miffed at his unborn child for already dictating his life plans. I'm a mom of a one-year-old, so I felt no sympathy for his plight, but I do feel sympathy for his pregnant wife. All in all, I will be going back to Paris Parker, just not the same stylist.
