I'm new to pet ownership, adopting my first kitty last winter (December 2010). She was a gift from my boyfriend (I know, animals shouldn't be given as gifts - it was a unique situation though as I'd been wanting to adopt a kitty for a while and was already prepared to do so). First, each time I've called to set up an office visit they were able to fit me in the very next day, even the time I called 30 minutes before they closed the night before the scheduled appointment.
