I hated the 6 months I worked there! I was makeing $10.00 an hour as an EMT at Beta Steel in Portage. I was supposed to escort a guy making death threats against his supervisors to his car, in the dark. Seriously? Like the other guy said, no benefits...Wait! 5,000 in FREE life insurance. I'm sure somehow it would make its way back to ISM and your buried in a cardboard box. I loathed everyday I worked there right up untill I stopped doing my patrols and started just wearing jeans and my uniform shirt to work.\r

If your thinking about working there, first, go to Menards in Gary, Merrillville, etc and see how happy they look working there. Go work att Burger King. At least there you make more and less chance of assult.
