Basic Hotel...Clean & Comfortable, excellent location W1e stayed at the Harrington for a short family vacation and were very pleased with the accommodations. We reserved a deluxe family suite which consisted of two adjoining rooms providing our family of four with two bathrooms, two tv's a medium sized fridge and provisions for coffee & tea. Check-in was seamless and the staff was friendly. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and everything worked (heat, hot water, tv's). The location of the Hotel is ideal, a short walk (~10 minutes) to the White House and the National Mall including all of the museums -or- going in the other direction, at the Verizon Center in Chinatown. If walking is not your cup of tea, there is a Metrobus stop in front of the hotel and the Metrorail is just steps away. If you are looking for basic no frills lodging when visiting the DC area, the Hotel Harrington is a great choice.
